Ruga® Turf is that product. Ruga® Turf is a well-balanced mix of Tall fescue, perennial ryegrass and bluegrass. The idea behind this product is to provide wearability.
Ruga® Turf has a coarser appearance than a straight ryegrass or bluegrass lawn. It provides a mild state of stripeability and germinates quickly to provide better green up in the spring. This turf also holds its color longer in the winter (northern climates). It will creep into shrub beds.
This lawn requires fertilization approximately every 6 weeks while it is nondormant.
Mowing height is between 2-3.5 inches. Thatch control is needed every 2-3 yrs. Seeding rate is 8-10#/1000 sq. ft.
